Our ballet studio is located at Friedenstraße 58, 40219 Düsseldorf (academia 2). No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so (Section 38 BDSG).
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When you open a page, Netlify processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the website and protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify processes this data on our behalf. For transfers to the USA, Netlify relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Netlify privacy policy
When you use one of our forms, we process your name, your email address and/or phone number, the course you are interested in, your message, the optional answer to “How did you hear about us?”, and the language and page from which you sent the form. The data is transmitted and stored via Netlify Forms; we receive a notification by email to our Google Gmail mailbox (Google Ireland Limited).
The purpose is to answer your enquiry and arrange a trial class. The legal bases are pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. The same applies if you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
To understand how our website is used and where we can improve it, we use Simple Analytics (Simple Analytics B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands). Simple Analytics does not set cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not collect IP addresses and does not create user profiles – visitors are not recognised. Only anonymous, aggregated values are collected: page visited, referring page and campaign parameters (UTM), device type, browser, operating system, screen size, country (derived from the time zone) and time on page.
In addition, we anonymously count certain interactions, for example clicks on phone, email or WhatsApp links and on “Book a trial class”, opened FAQ questions, scroll depth, answers to “Was this page helpful?”, loading the map, and starting and submitting a form. The content you enter in a form is not transmitted – only the selected course, the language and your optional answer on how you heard about us.
The data is processed in the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement and improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device, Section 25 TDDDG does not apply. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, no data is collected. Simple Analytics privacy policy
Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>, stored for up to 2 years) to recognise returning visits and transmits usage data to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; Google Signals and advertising features are disabled. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future: . When you withdraw, we delete the Google Analytics cookies. Google privacy policy
On the contact and trial class pages you can display a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Google, possibly also to the USA. The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google privacy policy
Our website contains simple links to WhatsApp and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). Visiting our website does not transmit any data to these services. Only when you click a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.
The fonts we use (Poppins and Playfair Display) are hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other providers is made when they load.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognisable by “https://” in the address bar) so that transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.
